Technical Parameters

IS 7285 50L Cylinder is manufactured on CNC hot spinning machines by closed bottom and neck molding and undergoes all in-house tests and controls at every stage of production to ensure quality products for cylinders ranging from 76 to 406 mm diameter. Accessories like valve retainers, neck rings, caps and shields are fitted to the cylinders as per the requirements of the customers. The factory is equipped with the most modern machinery from renowned international vendors to produce quality products. The entire production process/testing is controlled by RCPL and done in-house at our own dedicated factory. This ensures that we are able to supply cylinders of the right quality at the right price to suit most customer requirements.

Inspection and Testing
The following inspection and testing activities are carried out as per the requirements of international standards: Dimensional and visual inspection of raw seamless steel pipes, bottom and neck forming temperature monitoring, heat treatment parameters monitoring and recording, hardness after heat treatment, mechanical properties – tensile strength, yield strength, elongation

RAW MATERIAL
The cylinders are manufactured from Seamless Steel Tubes of superior quality steel, passed through necessary tests and controls having required metallurgical properties made from various grades (i.e. Manganese Steel, Chrome – Moly Steel).
